SHOW NIGHTS!
Jazz Nights! Betty Lou’s has featured the very best Jazz musicians in Calgary for over 10 years. (The Redline Trio has been our house band on Thurdays for almost a decade!) On nights with live Jazz there are TWO shows! Book case opens at 5 pm. We have an early show from 7-8:30 pm and a late show from 9-10:30 pm. For early shows please reserve between 6-7 and for the late show between 8:30 – 9pm All guests arriving at 5 are not guaranteed a seat for the show – but let us know and we’ll do our best! All Jazz shows are only $10 and we always save room at the bar for walk-ins. Check our events calendar for show dates and times! Please note: the $10 is a cover charge and non refundable for late cancellations (less than 24hrs or no-shows).
Burlesque Nights! Only one performance per night on these nights and Betty Lou’s is excited to welcome this amazing art back behind the bookcase! “The Velvet Hour” performs from 7:30-9:00 pm with a cover of $25. Coming in at 5? You are not guaranteed seats for the show but let us know and we will do our best! Please book your reservation from 6-7 pm. These shows sell out very very fast with tickets at $25. WEEKENDS!
On Friday and Saturday nights the bookcase opens at 5pm and goes to late. The room is intimate and the cocktails are curated to perfection. Reservations are highly recommended. For reservations of 5 or less you can give us a call or use the very handy TOCK link which will show our available times. On weekends all reservations are for 2 hours. Why? Our room is small and we believe everybody deserves an amazing cocktail after a hard week. Want to stay longer – ask your server and we’ll do our best.
PASSWORDS!
All passwords are texted out on the afternoon of your reservation. Your password is yours and no one else’s!
WALK-INS!
If you cannot book a reservation online or you would like to join us later in the evening, please dial 403.454.4774 to reserve through a librarian or come down as a walk-in guest and we will be happy to accommodate you on a first-come, first-served basis. We always save seats at the bar but they go fast.
LARGER GROUPS!
Betty Lou’s is a boutique Library, because of this we can accommodate parties only as large as 8 guests. Celebrating with a larger group? Join us for our first seating of the evening at 5:00 pm when we can welcome groups of up to 14.
Please use the Large Party Booking form below. Be sure to fill in all the fields to ensure that the form is sent off successfully.
Please Do Not book multiple reservations to create a larger party. If you contact us directly we will do our best to accommodate your group.
Groups of 5 or more will be asked for a deposit of $10/person which is refunded upon arrival.
